The updated XRTM offers all-new XR Clear Image technology to reduce motion blur. The system also offers enhanced backlight control for increased local dimming zones and increased brightness.
Ultimate PlayStation 5 Experience
The 2023 BRAVIA XR line-up also offers the best PlayStation 5 gaming experience. Each of the four models offer Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode. The latter optimises picture quality while gaming and streaming.
Sony has crafted an easy-to-use ‘Game Menu’ where gamers can customise their preferences. Gamers can turn VRR or Motion Blur Reduction on or off with quick access.
Users can increase the brightness in dark areas with the Game Menu’s Black Equaliser to make it easier to spot objects and opponents. BRAVIA X95L Mini LED, X90L Full Array LED, A95L QD-OLED and A80L OLED all feature six crosshairs that users can apply.
All four of the 2023 Sony BRAVIA TV line-up also feature the ability to shrink the screen so gamers can focus on a smaller area. BRAVIA A95L has Multi-View that allows games to check a guide or walkthrough while playing their game in another window.
Sound Solutions
Each of the Sony BRAVIA XR 2023 models offer Acoustic Center Sync. This synchronises the TV’s audio system with a compatible Sony soundbar turning it into the centre speaker.
Each model also works with Sony soundbars to offer 360 Spatial Sound Mapping which generates phantom speakers and sound-field optimisation.
Sony BRAVIA A95L and A80L models feature Acoustic Surface Audio+ with actuators that produce sound from the entire screen, following sounds around the screen as they happen.
