Lenovo Legion Powers Esports World Cup 2026 as Global Partner in Paris

Lenovo has deepened its involvement with the Esports World Cup. The company has signed on as a Global Partner for the 2026 edition and is expanding its Lenovo Legion hardware footprint across the tournament’s competitive, broadcast and fan‑facing operations. The move builds on last year’s debut collaboration.

Esports World Cup returns this summer with a seven‑week schedule in Paris, running from 6 July to 23 August. More than 2,000 players and 200 teams from over 100 countries are expected to compete across 24 game titles and 25 tournaments, with a prize pool topping 75 million dollars. Lenovo now joins the event’s Founding Partner roster, supplying Legion desktop PCs and monitors to arenas, training rooms, broadcast studios and festival zones throughout the city.

Mohammed Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer at the Esports Foundation welcomed Lenovo’s expanded role. Volker Düring, who leads Lenovo’s gaming business, said the partnership reflects an ambition to support elite players with hardware on the sport’s biggest stage.

Legion Tower 7i and Tower 5i machines will be used across competitive play. Lenovo Legion monitors will be added to the athlete setup for 2026. Company branding will feature across broadcasts and on‑site activations. This will include Legion Gauntlet stage and festival areas where fans can try laptops, tablets and peripherals. Visitors will also have chances to win hardware through event challenges. Legion’s own channels will then carry behind‑the‑scenes content throughout the tournament.

Lenovo is also using the partnership to showcase its concept work. Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable, first shown at CES earlier this year, will be on display at the event. The device features a 16‑inch Lenovo PureSight OLED panel that can extend to 21.5 and 24 inches. The concept device is aimed at players who need a single portable system for training and travel. EWC attendees will be able to test the concept at Lenovo’s booth.

Organisers say the 2025 event reached 750 million viewers worldwide. And with Paris set to host the expanded 2026 edition, Lenovo’s role also grows from supplier to central partner, placing Legion hardware and branding across the full breadth of the competition and its global campaign.
