While Samsung might better known for their high-tech smartphones and televisions sets around these parts, the company applies their design chops to a wide range of electronic products. This time around, we are testing the Samsung Bespoke Jet cordless vacuum cleaner, a simple and elegant cleaning system that tackles a wide range of household problems.
Hiding the High-Tech Stuff
Samsung Bespoke Jet features some marvelous technology on board but it keeps it away from the use. Operation is incredibly simple. There are just three buttons on the handheld unit. One turns it on/off, the others control suction strength, of which there are four levels.
Those of you expecting something complicated will be pleasantly surprised by how unfussy is to set up and use.

This simplicity extends across the wide range of functions. If you want a particular type of cleaning done, you select that tool and the handheld unit knows what to do. There are no menus to swipe through, it’s all very analogue. Which is somewhat ironic given a digital inverter motor that powers the whole thing.
Dynamic Cleaning Tool
The hand unit is exceptionally light at only 1.45 kilograms without any attachments. Even the heaviest attachments, the Jet Dual brush and Spray Spinning brush heads, allows the user whizz around a room at around 2.5kgs and 2.7kgs total respectively.
Each of the main three heads, the aforementioned pair and the pet brush head, can be removed at both ends. This means, you can reach into corners or focus on a small spot without having to get another head. It’s all so logical and intuitive.
Brush with Greatness
The head selection of Samsung Bespoke Jet is excellent out of the box. The Jet Dual brush head works on both hard surfaces and carpeting so you don’t need to change on the go.

The Spray Spinning Sweeper can be used with the two provided sets of disposable pads or a reusable set. These reusable pads are a general absorbent fabric cleaning head. Additionally, the unit can hold a cleaning liquid in the Spray Spinning Sweeper head to coat the floor as you go.
All-in-One Clean Station
And it’s worth mentioning again that the high-tech stuff involved with making a handheld vacuum do most of a mains-powered unit’s job is kept away from the user. Using the circular cleaning or all-surface head asks for nothing except to attach that head.
As mentioned above, the user simply selects the head for the job and switches the handheld vacuum unit on. This simplicity extends to the All-in-One Clean Station, a stand-up unit on which the handheld unit is charged and its chamber is emptied into a bag.
Bespoke Jet Stamina
The vacuum unit boasts a run-time of up to 60 minutes. This figure is probably near achievable on the lowest setting. The unit defaults to Mid level when switched on a runs for just over twenty minutes, picking up useful quantities of dust and loose dry matter.
I found that Mid or Max, third and fourth levels. gave a run-time closer to fifteen and ten minutes respectively
You could vacuum your whole house with the second battery ready to go if you switched to Max or Jet for the toughest corners. And the handheld unit’s maximum suction power of 210W would do a great job of it. Even if the cordless Bespoke Jet works best as an everyday cleaner and tidier, it kept my own mains-powered vacuum in the press for longer.
A Stand-Up Job
The stand-up Clean Station has a single button with which the user starts the process of emptying the hand vacuum unit into a dust retention bag. It sucks the content of the unit’s chamber with a pulsed whoosh. To charge the unit the user places the Bespoke Jet handheld unit on its stand.
The Bespoke Jet Clean Station is designed to it will accommodate whichever head you have used last. It’s nice that that user can fling it back on the stand, no matter what mess was dealt with last.
Bespoke Jet Accessories
Samsung Bespoke Jet comes with a tidy stand for the heads that are not in use. This stand not holds each spare part ready for use, it also charges the included second battery. And this is just another example of the attention to detail that pops up all over Bespoke Jet.
The array of included accessories and the care in making it convenient to avail of them is commendable.
Not Existing in a Vacuum
The price of the unit may give potential users pause. However, the handheld vacuum does the basics exceptionally well. It’s light and so powerful it can tackle jobs that other heavier handhelds couldn’t dream of. It also does a host of ancillary tasks like wet cleaning and pet hair removal.
The stand concept is delivered flawlessly. Samsung Bespoke Jet is simple and effective while looking smart. In addition, the whole package is underlined by a premium feel and attention to detail. Details like the accessory stand with second battery charger or the heads removable at both ends show the care that went into Samsung Bespoke Jet.
