PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2 Irish Pricing
There are two models of PlayStation 5 on sale in Ireland currently. The PlayStation 5 which costs €449.99 until 30 November 2023. The PS5 Digital Edition has not received an official price drop and still costs €449.99. The more expensive model, PlayStation 5, includes a 4K Blu-Ray disc drive on which you can watch movies and play games.
The PS5 Digital Edition does not have a disc drive and content delivery is digital only.
PlayStation VR2 is a virtual reality headset that is for use with PlayStation 5/PlayStation 5 Digital Edition and is sold separately. The PlayStation VR2 unit comes with Sense controllers and is available in Ireland and is priced at €599.
Deals on PS5 Console, Hardware and Games Direct from PlayStation Ireland
From 17 November till 30 November, players will be able to purchase PlayStation 5 consoles for €449.99 at participating retailers, including DID, Expert and Currys. Further information on this offer can be found at PlayStation Black Friday 2023 and in the store offers below.

Players can also save up to 30% on 12 months of PlayStation Plus. PlayStation offer three tiers; Essentials, Extra and Premium. Essentials give you lets you play online multiplayer games and lets gamers stream a selection of games. Extra gives you hundreds of games to play as well as free games on top of the Essentials perks.
Premium offers the lot with a selection of PS Classic titles, including some of the very best from PlayStation 1 through 5.
PlayStation 5 from Amazon with Delivery to Ireland
Amazon UK offer PlayStation 5 with free delivery available to Ireland. The PS5 console’s price works out €485.
Currys Ireland PS5 Stock – Available for Delivery or for Pick-Up at Selected Stores
Curry’s currently carries both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition. Sony PS5 is listed on Currys Ireland at €449 and is available for delivery around Ireland and for collection at selected stores.
Sony PS5 Digital Edition is listed at €449 with Currys Ireland but is currently out of stock.

A PlayStation 5 with EA Sports FC 24 bundle which also includes EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Team digital content is available from Curry’s Ireland at €469 for delivery around Ireland and for collection at selected stores.
A PlayStation 5 with Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming Headset (Black & Red) with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 bundle is just €609 at present with Currys Ireland. That’s a saving of €110.

Very Ireland are offering PlayStation 5 with free home delivery for €449.99 through their online store, down from €549.99.
PlayStation VR2 is also available to order online with Very Ireland priced at €599.99 and comes with free home delivery. A PlayStation 5/PlayStation 5 Digital Edition console is required and is sold separately.
The online store also offers a handful of PlayStation 5 console bundles. All of these come with the version of the PlayStation 5 which has a disc drive.
One of the best is the PlayStation 5 with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 bundle is priced at €624.99 with Very Ireland online.
Very also offer a PlayStation 5 console with additional PS5 DualSense controller bundle to allow for two-player fun on Christmas morning. This bundle is available at Very Ireland for €519.

Smyths Toys offers both the PlayStation 5, which is priced at €449, and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, which is also priced at €449.

DID Electrical PSVR2 Bundle for Christmas 2023
You can find PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle in store only at DID Electrical for €649.99.
The bundle includes the PSVR2 headset, two PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers and Horizon Call of the Mountain. A PlayStation 5/PlayStation 5 Digital Edition console is required and is sold separately.
