Our friends at Anker recently invited us to a showcase of their latest in their line of Eufy products, ranging from AI-integrated Cameras to self-cleaning floor robots.
Held at The Hoxton in Holborn, London, each of these products had their own displays, with knowledgeable Anker and Eufy representatives at hand to give the lowdown on what makes these products stand ahead of the competition.
eufy Clean X8 Pro
This little cleaning robot was the personal highlight of the night, especially since it was the first product demoed for me. Fitted with detangling technology, this Roomba-like robot has been designed to tackle the hairiest of carpets, ideal for all of you pet owners out there.
One of the night’s key acitivities was playing beer pong on these little machines as they scurried across the floor. A dangerous game for sure. But what better way to make a demonstration fun than inviting a bunch of drunken press representatives to gather around to throw balls at a £500+ cleaning machine.
AI Cleaning Power
With its intelligent pathfinding capabilities, using its integrated iPath Laser Navigation and AI.Map 2.0 Technology, you can simply set the X8 Pro down and let it do its thing. It maps out your home for a stumble-free experience, while you go about your own daily routine.

With self-emptying technology, this handy device will make its way back to its partnered docking station whenever it needs to empty its load. The unit also packaged with a 2.5l “bacteriostatic dust bag” for up to 45 days hands-free use.

Dual Camera Series products
The eufy Clean X8 Pro cleaning robot had a lot of the attention, but much of the event was geared towards the other eufy products on offer. These included the eufy Video Doorbell, eufy Solocam, eufy Indoor Cam and eufy Floodlight Cam.

Next up we have the eufy Solocam. Using AI-based technology, the Solocam can recognise vehicle number plates. Eufy Solocam also comes with built in facial recognition. This can provide realtime feedback on who’s visiting your home and when, giving you that extra level of security.

Aside from looking like a cuter version of Johnny 5 or Wall-E, this smart little indoor cam offers 4K Ultra High Definition video. Eufy Indoor Cam also has complete 360 degrees visibility and tracking.

eufy Products Showcase
Overall, Anker had quite a lot of innovation to show in their eufy products line. X8 Pro remains impressive but this round of releases focused on bringing high quality security to the homes of the everyman.
