Three MateBook laptops are set to launch in the coming weeks, including the high-end Matebook X Pro.

The MateBook X Pro is spec’d up to the gills and should have no problem running demanding programs such as Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.

You’ll have no problem with storage either as it comes with a super-fast 512GB SSD and 16GB of RAM.

The Ultra FullView display offers a 3000 x 2000 resolution and has shrank its bezels further still with the MateBook X’s camera now residing in the keyboard.

It’s quick and easy to login as well due to the 2-in-1 power button that also functions as a finger print scanner.

The Huawei Matebook X is available in Harvey Norman for the limited time offer of €1,599.

The more entry-level Huawei MateBook D14 is also available at Harvey Norman. D14 comes with a Ryzen 5 3500U processor, 8GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD and integrated Radeon Vega 8 graphics.

The switch in processors from Intel to AMD has boosted overall performance by between 14% and 27%, depending on your activity.

MateBook D14 also comes a 65W charger that can charge your device from 0% to 53% in just 30 minutes.

Harvey Norman is currently running an offer on the MateBook D14. For €799 you get the MateBook D14 and two free Huawei mini speakers.

Now we come to the MatePad lineup of devices. The entry-level MatePad T8 is built for portability, being incredibly light at just 310 grams. The device can be held in one hand or used in landscape mode.

It has a 1280 x 720 resolution, 2GB of RAM and an Octa-core MediaTek MT8768 processor.

With this being a budget device, Huawei knows a few will end up in the hands of children. To this end, each device comes with a dedicated Kids Corner which Huawei claim is “[…] designed to offer fun for children with entertaining features and peace-of-mind for parents limiting screen time and feature access.”

It also has a massive 5100 mAh battery which should see it last throughout the day. The MatePad T8 has a RRP of €159.

Now we come to the flagship of Huawei’s MatePad series, Huawei MatePad Pro.

It has a beautiful screen with a 2560 x 1600 resolution with a peak brightness of 540 nits and a 90% screen to body ratio.

Holding that beautiful screen in place is a magnesium alloy frame which is super durable considering it’s the same type of material used in aerospace and automobile design.

If you’re an artsy person, then you’ll be happy to know that the MatePad Pro comes with the Huawei M-pencil which is bundled for their launch offer.

Tablets these days are becoming more and more like laptops these days and the MatePad Pro is no exception.

Both a tablet and desktop mode are available on the MatePad 10 Pro as well as the option of using the smart magnetic keyboard.

For specs, MatePad 10 Pro has 6GB of RAM, 128GB of flash storage, the Kirin 990 SoC, Da Vinci NPU and the Mali G76 GPU.
