A few weeks ago, we covered the announcement of Xiaomi POCO F2 Pro. Our own Thomas Telford was blown away by some of the device’s features and price/power ratio when the it was announced back in mid-May. Now, POCO F2 Pro lands in the UK but just one model for now. The 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM model will the sole representative around these parts until the 6GB + 128GB model arrives in the Summer.
The higher spec model is probably the more enticing. POCO F2 8GB + 256GB version is running LPDDR 5 RAM for silky app opening and task switching.
With the support of WiFi 6, POCO F2 Pro can supposedly reach speeds of 9.6Gbps. Additionally, the device integrates a multi-link connection to get the best data throughput from 2.4G Wi-Fi, 5G Wi-Fi or mobile data.
The video camera set up is capable of recording 8K at 24fps, 4K at 60fps, while the selfie camera supports slow-motion video at 120fps.
And finally, if you’re a heavy user you might like to know that the POCO F2 Pro is packing a 4,700 mAh battery that supports 30 watt fast charging.
