Sky Ireland unleashed their latest addition to the Sky Entertainment OS ecosystem on Thursday 22 June. The ‘Sky Live’ camera is an interactive entertainment device that will allow users to share their choice of content with family and friends.
The unit also allows video calls with a resolution of up to 4K as well as AR and gaming experiences. The device is available now from €6 per month on a 48-month plan to existing Sky Glass Ireland customers.
Sky Live Transforms Glass
Sky Ireland are pitching the device as an all-round entertainment device with a wide array of possibilities. These include gesture navigation, gaming and even helping you follow workouts.
Sky Live allows users in different locations to watch TV programmes and films together. The camera allows you to hear and see your family or friends as they howl with laughter or scream at a missed penalty.

The Sky Live system also hosts an array of fun AR filters and experiences. Insert yourself and your kids into scenes or scenarios with their favourite character.
There’s also a range of games to take advantage of the precise tracking offered by the Sky Live camera.

Sky Live is available to buy in Ireland from today (Thursday 22 June) online or in Sky retail stores or with our customer services.
