Sigenergy has been ranked the number one energy storage brand in Ireland by independent consultancy SunWiz, reflecting the company’s growing presence in a market that is rapidly expanding its renewable energy capacity.
The ranking comes as Ireland continues to accelerate its shift towards cleaner power. According to EirGrid, renewables supplied 43.8 per cent of the country’s electricity in December 2025, while solar installations increased by 25 per cent in 2024.

Rising energy bills and the wider cost of living crisis have also contributed to stronger interest in home and commercial energy storage systems.
SunWiz’s assessment places Sigenergy at the top of the Irish market, supported by what the company describes as strong installer adoption and growing demand across both residential and commercial sectors.
International Expansion
Sigenergy is also expanding internationally. The company plans to open a third manufacturing facility in Nantong, Suzhou Province, China, in February 2026. It holds number one rankings in several other markets, including Australia and South Africa, which it says demonstrates a broader global growth trend.
Ivan Ivanov, Managing Director for the UK and Ireland, said the recognition comes at a time when renewable technologies are becoming more attractive to consumers. He added that the company aims to build on its position in Ireland and increase its presence in other regions investing in clean energy.
Founded in 2022, Sigenergy has grown quickly within the global energy storage sector.
