From its original inception in Pokémon Gold and Silver via using infrared connections on the Game Boy Color, the Mystery Gift feature has always been a welcome addition to mainline Pokémon titles. It’s been slim pickings for Pokémon Sword and Shield, with developers Game Freak opting to paywall a lot of content behind its two expansions in Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra.

Mystery Gift Pikachus

We’ve had the odd item or battle point codes drip through since launch, however, players finally have a chance to get their hands-on some event Pokémon. Here’s a list alongside the code you need to punch in. To redeem, simply access the Mystery Gift option in the games main menu and select ‘Via Internet’:
