One of the most advanced health monitoring features of Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is set to come to Europe after it granted the ‘CE’ mark.

The Huawei smartwatch launched with two major new sensors on top of the Watch 3’s suite. One of these, the electrocardiogram or ECG, was awaiting approval in the EU and the UK before its rollout in the regions.

At the same time, Huawei announced their innovative blood pressure monitor had been cleared for use in their upcoming Huawei Watch D.

Huawei Watch GT 3 faces arterial stiffness

The ECG feature had been available in other territories since Huawei GT 3 Pro with Huawei promising the mode would join the arterial stiffness testing in the smartwatch’s suite.

Rigid Testing Procedure

The arterial stiffness test, the other major feature of Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro and it seems to work well. The test is easy to take and not particularly time-consuming.

Whether or not it’s accurate comes down to how rigorously it was tested before certification. But I choose to believe it’s correct when it says my arteries are fine for now.

Huawei Watch D allows wrist-type blood pressure monitoring anywhere in real time in a device that weighs just 40.9g. The device uses mini pump to measure blood pressure accurately anytime. Huawei Watch D arrives in Q4 to the European market as a certified medical device.

The Huawei ECG App is coming to Europe and the UK soon with no official news on the exact date. Nor is there news on which of the 33 or so territories will see the rollout first.
