CES 2024: MAINGEAR Revolutionises Cable Management

Epic reveals are afoot at the CES 2024 MAINGEAR booth, with the custom PC builder announcing a significant innovation in desktop PC design with its new MAINGEAR Rear Connection (MG-RC) technology. This patented system, a collaborative effort with MSI and Phanteks, marks a substantial shift in desktop PC aesthetics and performance.

CES 2024 MAINGEAR MG-RC Tech

The MG-RC technology revealed at CES 2024 MAINGEAR booth revolutionises the way cables are managed in desktop gaming PCs. Repositioning cabled connections to the rear or underside of the motherboard provides a clutter-free internal look for the PC case. Benefits of this technology include:

  • Improved cooling due to decreased air turbulence inside the case.
  • Streamlined cable management for more straightforward assembly.
  • Enhanced overall aesthetics.

MAINGEAR aims to make MG-RC a standard in the industry, enhancing the experience for OEMs, system builders, and end-users.

Further adding to the CES lineup, MAINGEAR unveiled the MAINGEAR ZERO drop, an exclusive collaboration with MSI. This limited-edition gaming rig features the MSI B760M Project Zero motherboard and the MSI MAG Pano M1000 PZ White chassis. The ZERO drop is notable for integrating MG-RC technology, eliminating visible motherboard cables, and enhancing performance and aesthetics.

This concept features top-tier components like the MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super 16GB Ventus 3X OC graphics card, Intel Core i9-14900K processor, and a 420mm Phanteks Glacier One AiO liquid cooler.
