POCO has unveiled two new devices in the form of POCO X3 Pro and F3 which pack some seriously impressive specs for low low prices.
Both the X3 Pro and F3 feature pretty beefy specs for a very competitive price early bird price.
We’ll start with the cheaper X3 Pro. This device is the flagship version of POCO’s previous device, the X3 NFC. Inside you have the new Snapdragon 860, which is an overclocked Snapdragon 855+. This processor is the most powerful 4G-only processor on the market so performance will be fantastic.
A hefty 5160mAh battery will give you over a day worth of battery life while you also get a 33W charger that fully charges it in less than an hour. The days of high-refresh-rate screens being exclusive to €1000+ phones are well and truly behind us. The X3 Pro sports a 6.63-inch FullHD+ DotDisplay with a 120HZ refresh rate and a touch sample rate of 240HZ.
There’s a quad-camera setup on the rear of the device lead by a 48MP main sensor. You also have an 8MP Ultra-wide, 2MP Macro, and 2MP depth sensor. You can choose between the 6GB/128GB or 8GB/256GB versions.
The early-bird price for the 6GB and 8GB models is €199 and €249 respectively. Once that ends, the price will increase to €249 and €299.
Now we come to the spiritual successor to the POCOPHONE F1. Yes, we’ve had the POCO F2 Pro – you can read our review here – but the pricing of the F3 is more reminiscent of the og POCOPHONE.
Specs-wise you have the new SnapDragon 870 processor which is a suped-up version of the 2020 flagship, SnapDragon 865.
The F3 has an AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120HZ and a touch sample rate of 360HZ. It’s a super bright screen as well peaking at 1300 nits and supports HDR10+. Like the X3 pro, the F3 has both 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB options but uses the faster LPDDR5 Ram compared to the LPDDR4X ram in the X3 Pro.
POCO F3 has a slightly smaller battery than the X3 PRO at 4520mAh and includes the same 33W fast charger. The audio in POCO F3 supports Dolby Atmos while there are dual speakers and is also Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio wireless certified.
Like POCO X3 Pro, POCO F3 has an early bird starting price. The base 6GB/128GB model costs €299. while the 8GB/256GB model starts at €349. Those early bird prices will start on March 27 and run until April 6.
