Xiaomi has today launched their highly-praised flagship, Mi11, in the UK along with two new sport watches and a special edition Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2.
The Mi11 is the newest flagship from Xiaomi and features the Snapdragon 888 processor, 50w wireless charging and 108mp triple rear camera. The camera setup looks set to be a big selling point for the Mi11. According to Xiaomi, it’ll turn the most novice photographer into an enthusiast due to the processing software and camera setup.
The Mi11 features improved night mode, magic zoom mode, six 1-click AI cinema features from a parallel world to freeze-frame videos. The three main sensors on the rear f the Mi11 are a 108MP main sensor, 13MP Ultra-Wide and a 5MP Macro.
Having launched back in December in China, Xiaomi is finally bringing the Mi11 to the UK market with some fantastic offers straight off the bat. If you pre-order from Vodafone UK you’ll get the Mi Electric Scooter Essential for free. If you are pre-ordering from Three then you’ll get a Mi Watch and Mi True Wireless Earphones 2s. If ordering from Amazon is more to your fancy then you’ll get £100 off the retail price. If you order through the MiStore you’ll get a £100 Mi store voucher, double Mi Points and also free screen insurance protection. No word yet on whether these are coming to the Irish market or whether they’re exclusive to the UK.
Two storage variants are available including 128GB and 256GB retailing at £749 and £799 respectively.
Xiaomi also revealed two new sports watches namely the Mi Watch and Mi Watch Lite. Retailing for £119, Mi Watch sports a 1.39 inch AMOLED display covered in Corning Gorilla Glass so scratches shouldn’t be a worry for you. There are over 100 different activities that Mi Watch can track including rowing, cycling, running etc. It also monitors your blood oxygen levels and has a battery life of 16 days after just a two-hour charge.
With over 100 watch faces to choose from, including your own photos, it has built-in GPS and can be used in water with up to 50m of water resistance. Mi Watch comes in three colours – black, navy blue and beige and will retail for £119, but there’s a pre-order special for those that buy in the first seven days when it’ll be reduced to £99.99.
Mi Watch Lite is the little brother of the two. It sports a 1.4-inch touch display with the same 50m of water resistance, 14 sports options, built-in GPS and the ability to respond to social media messages with emojis. Mi Watch lite will come in three colours – navy blue, black, and ivory. It has an early bird price of £49.99.
Finally, we have Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 Special Edition. In collaboration with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team and Xiaomi, the Pro 2 special edition features a whole host of changes that will allow you to ride in style. It has a max speed of 25kph and a max range of 45km on a single charge.
Several enhancements to safety have been made including a double braking system, pneumatic shock-absorbing inflatable tires, and a built-in display for seamless monitoring. Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 Special Edition will retail for £799.
