Sky has added Disney+ to its TV packages in Ireland, giving customers access to the streaming service at no extra cost. The offer applies to new and existing subscribers on eligible plans and covers Disney+ Standard with Ads, or the same saving on Standard and Premium tiers. Sky values the inclusion at €8.99 per month.
The move follows Sky’s announcement earlier this year of a new all‑in subscription model. Disney+, HBO Max, Hayu and Netflix will sit alongside Sky TV in a single package. Sky says the combined value of the included apps is more than €30 per month, before counting Sky Originals such as Under Salt Marsh, Heated Rivalry and All Her Fault.

New customers can sign up for Sky Ultimate TV from €28 per month. This will include Netflix and Disney+ from day one, with HBO Max and Hayu joining later in the year. Sky is pitching the bundle as the best value option in the Irish market.

Disney+ arrives with a broad catalogue. Viewers can jump into series such as Rivals, Paradise and FX’s The Bear, or recent films like Zootropolis 2 and The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The platform also brings the usual mix of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, Hulu and 20th Century Studios content.
Sky Stream and Sky Glass customers with Ultimate TV, Sky Q customers on eligible plans, and Sky Essential TV customers with Sky Cinema can activate Disney+ directly from the Sky homepage. Voice control is supported, so saying “Disney+” will bring up the sign‑up flow.
Savings for Disney+ Subscribers
Existing Disney+ subscribers can move their plan to Sky and save up to €8.99 per month while keeping their profiles and watch history. Upgrades from Standard with Ads to Standard or Premium are available, with customers paying only the difference.

Sky Cinema customers will also gain access to a new Disney+ Cinema channel on 305. It launches with around 50 films and will mix classics from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars with weekly additions. Titles coming soon include Iron Man, Deadpool and Wolverine, Death on the Nile, Alien: Romulus, Finding Nemo and Up.

A curated selection of Disney+ shows will also appear on Sky’s linear channels, including Andor, The Bear and Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story. These will air across Sky Atlantic, Sky One and Sky Witness.
Sky OS integration means Disney+ content will appear in Continue Watching and Today’s Top Picks on Sky Stream, Sky Glass and Sky Q. HBO Max Basic with Ads will join the package on 26 March, with Hayu following in July.
