Xiaomi Announce Redmi 9 UK Release Date

Xiaomi, today announced the UK launch of the Redmi 9. The brand-new entry-level smartphone touts major upgrades from its predecessor, including an all-purpose AI quad-camera set up, 6.53’’ FHD+ Dot Drop display, powerful chipset and edgy design. Retailing at a starting price of £159, Redmi 9 will be available for purchase via mi.com/uk, starting at midnight on Friday 14th August.

As the first entry-level Xiaomi Redmi smartphone to feature an all-purpose quad-camera set up, Redmi 9 helps capture life’s special moments. Redmi 9 will be available in three colour variants in the UK: Carbon Grey, Ocean Green, and Sunset Purple. The 4GB+64GB variant will be available starting at £159 on mi.com/UK. The 3GB+32GB variant will not be launched in the UK.
