Gaming hardware brand CRKD has announced a new addition to its collectible controller line-up. CRKD NEO S 5-Fret Daft Punk Fortnite Festival Edition is a novel and versatile unit.

Designed for rhythm-based games, the limited-edition controller pays tribute to the legendary French electronic duo Daft Punk. The full dual-analogue controller with five built-in music keys is also tailored for use with Fortnite Festival. The five-key fretboard attachment is detachable.
The release coincides with the launch of the Daft Punk Experience, an interactive music event within Fortnite. CRKD’s latest controller features artwork inspired by the duo’s retro-futuristic aesthetic with “1993–2021” printed on the device. This marks the span of Daft Punk’s career, which includes two of the best albums ever – Homework and Discovery.
Crossover Controller
Compatible with both PC and Nintendo Switch, the controller is the fifth in CRKD’s Fortnite Festival range. It includes a Festival Attachment that mimics the frets of a real guitar, allowing players to engage with various instrument parts in-game, including Keytar, Drum, Mic and Bass.
The five-fret design is reminiscent of classic rhythm game controllers, and the NEO S was developed by engineers who previously worked on Guitar Hero and DJ Hero.

Daft Punk, widely regarded as pioneers of electronic dance music, have earned multiple Grammy Awards and reshaped genres including house, disco and pop. Their inclusion in Fortnite Festival has been met with enthusiasm from fans, and CRKD’s controller aims to enhance that experience.
The NEO S 5-Fret Daft Punk Fortnite Festival Edition is available for pre-order now via CRKD’s website, priced at £59.99/€69.99/$59.99. Shipping is expected to begin in November 2025. As a limited-edition release, CRKD advises fans to act quickly before stock runs out.
