Xiaomi and Polyphony Digital has announced an exciting collaboration at Round One of the Gran Turismo World Series 2025. The collaboration marks a new milestone in digital automotive design. Under this partnership, Xiaomi’s flagship high-performance luxury electric vehicle, the SU7 Ultra, will make its debut in Gran Turismo 7. This historic inclusion represents the first-ever Xiaomi vehicle to appear in the globally renowned racing simulator. The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra will be available in both PS4 and PS5 versions of Gran Turismo 7.

Gran Turismo is celebrated for its unparalleled driving realism, replicating real-world performance with precision engineering parameters. The addition of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra highlights the growing influence of smart, high-performance EVs in the automotive industry. The addition will offer players an immersive experience that mirrors real-world driving dynamics.

In May 2025, Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi met with Xiaomi Group Founder, Chairman, and CEO Lei Jun in Beijing. During his visit, Yamauchi test-drove the SU7 Ultra and explored Xiaomi’s EV factory in Yizhuang.

Competitive Racing EV Performance
At the event, Yamauchi highlighted the SU7 Ultra’s competitive performance, emphasising its engineering capabilities. He also acknowledged Xiaomi’s dedication to vehicle dynamics and safety.

Xiaomi entered the EV market in 2024 with its “Human x Car x Home” ecosystem. With it, the company completed a seamless integration between smart mobility and everyday living. The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra features Xiaomi’s proprietary HyperEngine V8s tri-motor system, delivering 1,548 PS, a top speed exceeding 350 km/h, and a 0–100 km/h acceleration of just 1.98 seconds. The vehicle incorporates advanced carbon fibre components for optimal weight distribution and dynamic performance.
Xiaomi EV’s research and development teams rigorously test vehicle technologies at iconic circuits, such as the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Consequently, their vehicles can lean on race-proven innovations to enhance real-world handling, safety, and performance.
With this partnership, Xiaomi and Gran Turismo provide players and enthusiasts worldwide with an authentic high-performance EV experience.
