Xiaomi has announced the ‘Xiaomi Master Experience,’ a photography initiative designed to combine technology and storytelling. With the help of Xiaomi 15 Series smartphones co-engineered with Leica, the project aims to capture fleeting human moments in a creative and meaningful way. It highlights Xiaomi’s effort to build on its global photography community.
Advancing Mobile Photography in 2025
The launch of the Xiaomi 15 Series marks Xiaomi’s focus on capturing pro-grade imagery. Jia Wei, Head of Marketing of Xiaomi Western Europe, described mobile photography as a way to merge innovative technology with human storytelling.
Humanity Photography Project
The Humanity Photography Project centers around three universal themes: triumphs, passions, and challenges. Through these themes, Xiaomi strives to document moments that resonate with individuals and communities alike.
The initiative began at the Zurich Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series in Madrid, where photographers used Xiaomi 15 smartphones to capture the emotions of marathon runners.

Next was ‘Humanity: Taste of Emotions,’ which paired photography with gastronomy. Guests explored three exhibitions showcasing euphoria, surprise, and love, accompanied by dishes inspired by the photographs.
The final event, ‘Humanity: Emotions in Focus,’ brought together global perspectives. Acclaimed photographer Jonas Bendiksen shared his work alongside a group of international photographers, reflecting on the role of photography as a way to explore and appreciate the world.
Collaboration with PhotoVogue
Xiaomi partnered with PhotoVogue to deepen its connection with the photography community.

Claudia Revidat, a photographer and director, presented a series addressing humanity’s relationship with nature and communities, focusing on emotional and intimate storytelling.
