The mymonX smart health wearable has launched in the UK. The new player in the health-driven smartwatch market hopes to break into the market with innovative hardware features as well as a unique health-monitoring plan with a low-tech hook – a real doctor. MymonX offers the human touch underneath the high-tech stuff with a monthly health report, reviewed by an actual doctor.
New Health Player
The arms-race, pun mostly intended, seen in the health-driven smartwatch sector has seen some major advancements in personal wellness tech. The mymonX features non-invasive glucose monitoring and electrocradiograph (CG) as standard. The device also houses many other health tracking features.
MymonX takes health indicators in real-time using its array of sensors. MymonX then uses that data to drive AI models that are able to identify health issues in a holistic fashion.
Sensors include non-invasive Glucose Monitoring, ECG, Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Oxygenation, Respiratory Rate, Body Temperature and Sleep Tracking.
The service also provides the user with a monthly personalised doctor-reviewed health report. This report will highlight any changes to vital signs and offering early warning over health indicators.
Non-Invasive Glucose Testing Smart Wearable
MymonX uses AI innovation to take glucose measurements non-invasively. That is, without the need for blood pricks or continuous glucose monitors. The AI-based non-invasive glucose monitoring delivers results in the standard mmol/L. Measurements can be taken easily throughout the day and trends can be observed with high granularity of data.
MymonX’s measurements are within the ISO 15197 guidelines and all their values are within Zone A and B using the Clarke Error Grid Analysis (CEGA). The CEGA is widely used to evaluate the accuracy of blood glucose monitors.
The device’s electrocardiograph (ECG) measures electrical activity within the heart. MymonX also uses advanced AI to process the data gathered and provide long-term analysis. The system also alerts users to detect potential problems with the heart’s rhythm and structure, such as a heart attack, arrhythmias, and other abnormalities.
The mymonX features a battery life of up to a week from just three hours of charging. The device also features IP68 water resistance.
MymonX Pricing and Availability
