Nokia has unveiled three new devices and new self-service kits to affect common repairs to their phones. The Finnish telecoms giant will release Nokia G22, C22 and C32in the wake of Mobile World Congress. The announcement at MWC also sees Nokia lean further into their sustainable by offering ‘at-home’ repair kits through iFixit.

Repairable, Sustainable Longevity

The star of the show is Nokia G22. The device is the first Nokia smartphone designed specifically with repairability in mind. Nokia partnered with iFixit, the global repair community, to ensure users can easily access repair guides as well as first-party replacement parts. Nokia are making it easier to replace a damaged display, bent charging port or flat battery on Nokia G22.

The new G22 features a 100% recycled plastic back. In addition, the device houses OZO Playback that delivers enhanced bass and clearer sound.

Nokia guarantees two years of Android OS upgrades. You also get three years of monthly security updates and an extended three-year warranty with Nokia G22.

Nokia C32 – Entry-Level Camera King

Nokia C32 boasts the highest image quality in any C-series device to date. The device features a 50MP camera with advanced imaging algorithms to bring premium-style imaging to an affordable price point.

Nokia C32 comes in a toughened glass finish to keep it safe. It’s also wrapped in a refined design. Elegant, straight sidewalls give the C-series a premium feel and ultra-modern look. C32 features Android 13 right out of the box so it runs ultra-modern, too.

HMD Global decided to bring their Nokia manufacturing plants back to Europe to better conduct secure and transparent operations back in 2020. This year will see that process begin in earnest as the company brings its 5G Nokia device production to Europe.

Pricing, Availability and Accessories

Nokia G22 is available in Meteor Grey and Lagoon Blue. The device comes in 4GB RAM/64GB Storage and 4/128GB configurations from €179.

iFixit replacement phone kit battery screen

At-home Fit Kits for Nokia G22 are available for five from iFixit.com. Replacement parts are also available from iFixit.com for €49.99 Euro. Battery replacements are priced at €29.99 and replacement charging ports are priced at €24.95.

Nokia C32 comes in Charcoal, Autumn Green, and Beach Pink, and is available in 4/64 GB memory and storage configuration from €139.99.

Nokia C22 comes in Midnight Black and Sand, and is available in 2/64 GB memory and storage configurations for RRP €129.99.

Also hiting the market is Nokia 65W Dual Port Wall Charger. The Dual Port Wall Charger is compatible with any USB-C cable so you can charge all your devices. The device provides faster charging and has a case made from 70% recycled material. Available from Nokia for RRP €49.99.
