Sky Ireland introduce Glass Air next-gen dishless TV system

Sky Ireland has announced the launch of Sky Glass Air, a new television designed to offer a more affordable way to access Sky’s entertainment services. The device, which will be available for purchase from 10th June 2025, provides a built-in Sky streaming experience without requiring a satellite dish or additional set-top box.

Features and Pricing

Sky Glass Air comes with a 4K HDR Quantum Dot screen and Dolby Audio, promising vibrant visuals and rich sound quality. It incorporates Sky OS, the software that powers Sky Glass Gen 2 and Sky Stream, and includes hands-free voice control, allowing users to search for shows, adjust volume, and manage their playlists with spoken commands.

SkyTV branded television ports

The TV is available in three screen sizes—43”, 55”, and 65”—and three colour options: Sea Green, Carbon Grey, and Cotton White. Prices start from €8 per month on a 48-month interest-free credit-sale agreement.

New customers can pair the device with a Sky Essential TV subscription for €18 per month, which includes access to Sky Atlantic, Netflix, and discovery+.

Sky positions the new television as an accessible option for households looking for a second screen or an entry point into the Sky entertainment ecosystem. Caroline Donnellan, Marketing & Brand Director for Sky & NOW, described the device as a “smarter TV for a smarter price,” highlighting its affordability and sleek design.
