505 Games and One More Level have opened closed beta signups for the upcoming Ghostrunner 2 with a major announcement about the game expected on 21st August. The closed Ghostrunner 2 beta offers players one of the first hands-on plays of the game. The game was also given a fresh trailer.
Beta spots for Ghostrunner 2 are limited with gamers urged to sign up here. 505 Games will also be looking for feedback from players in the wake of the closed beta.
In a recap trailer released this week, 505 also showed us Jack’s story so far. The new Previously on Ghostrunner recap video is available on YouTube here. One More Level say the recap shows the events that led to Jack’s escape from Dharma Tower, setting up his exploration of the wastelands of Ghostrunner 2.

Ghostrunner 2 is due out on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC in 2023. The first title launched on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC in 2020 with 9th-gen releases following in 2021. A major expansion, Project Hel, was released in 2022 for all platforms.

505 Games and One More Level also confirmed the date for the next ‘major drop’ of Ghostrunner 2 news. The big news is due on Monday, 21 August, just ahead of Gamescom.
However, the crew urged fans of the unique series to follow both publishers 505 Games and developers One More Level’s social media account for more teasers and tidbits.
Slots are limited so fans should sign up as soon as they can. The action-platform series is known for its smooth parkour movement and visceral sword combat. Sequel Ghostrunner 2 was announced in May 2023 at the PlayStation Showcase event.
