With schools and colleges around Ireland opening in the coming weeks, Huawei have a few offers for students and parents. With study, the commute and some down-time to look after, the tech giant has reduced prices across their wearable, audio, laptop and desktop monitor range. Huawei MateBook D15
We had Huawei MateBook D15 with Intel i5/8GB RAM/512GB in for review and had a lot of praise for its hardwearing shell, stamina and charging options. These three attributes alone make them perfect for students as referenced in our review.

In our review, we also spoke of the aggressive pricing of the review unit. That premium build quality and robust aluminium all-round chassis usually come at a premium price but Huawei MateBook D15 offers both in the mid range and they are even more affordable from now until 30 September 2022.
The 15-inch screen is large enough to work comfortably on while not being unweildy. That sweet spot is something that students value more than most people.
For simpler tasks and lighter workloads, the entry-level Huawei MateBook D15 model is under €500. That’s spectacular value for an all-metal frame from a reliable brand.
For those who need more power, the high-end Huawei MateBook D15 model offers an i7 and 16GB of RAM in that Huawei build quality for under €900.

Huawei FreeBuds Range Sale Prices
Three of Huawei’s FreeBuds range are reduced for the Back to School tech rush this year to help sooth students’ commutes. The excellent Huawei FreeBuds Pro offer amazing noise cancellation to let you study in peace or just enjoy your music on a noisy bus. Huawei FreeBuds Pro are available for the promotional price of €109 – €20 less than the already competitive MRRP.
Both Huawei FreeBuds 4 models take a €20 cut for Huawei’s Back to School/College promotion. FreeBuds 4 (Wired) are now less than €90 offering an open-fit earbud with ANC comparable to a closed-fit set.
We had high praise for the active noise cancellation (ANC), sound quality and build quality of the Huawei FreeBuds 4 (Wired) in our review and the wireless-charging model is just €10 more (€99) for that little bit of added convenience.

Huawei Watch Series Discounts
Huawei are offering a wide set of steep discounts to their Watch Series. Students who like to keep fit, keep time or keep their phone in their pocket probably have a watch to suit them in the list below.
Huawei Watch GT 3 is a rugged and stylish premium smartwatch whose 46mm model offers up to 14 days’ battery life. The Harmony OS 2.0-powered smartwatch features enhanced health functionality as well as the ability to call or reply to messages using templates from your wrist. TechStomper was a fan of Huawei Watch GT 3’s rugged construction, build quality and always-legible AMOLED display and the 46mm model starts at €179.
Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro adds extra health monitoring and entombs the premium smartwatch innards in titanium or ceramic. TechStomper had praise for Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro’s design and rugged case as well as the slick UI. The 46mm model now starts from €299.

Huawei Watch GT Runner features all of Watch GT 3’s enhanced fitness, health and communications functionality into something lighter and jogger-friendly. The premium build, stamina and running features of Huawaei Watch GT Runner impressed us just a few months ago. A whopping €100 has been sliced from the price for the duration of the Back to School tech promotion and Huawei Watch GT 3 can be purchased from €199.

Huawei MateView Monitor Price Drop
Students may need a solid monitor to round off a desktop PC, to add a second screen to your workspace or to make using a laptop that little more comfortable at their desks. We’ve reviewed a couple of Huawei monitors at TechStomper.

Huawei MateView GT 34″ is one of the finest all-round monitors for its original price and the €50 discount only sweetens the deal. At €519, Huawei MateView GT 34″ offers a huge 34-inch display gently curved to immerse the user.
The ultrawide format is superb for the game-loving student but also useful for word-processing and editing.
Its smaller sibling Huawei MateView 27″ offers the same all-round performance and ultrawide aspect ratio in a smaller and more affordable package. A €50 discount for Huawei’s Back to School promotion brings the unit down to €249.
