Crytek made a name for itself in the early 2000's, ultimatley losing the game engine war to Epics Unreal Engine 3. Whilst 'Ryse: Son of Rome' still shines as its best technical achievement, Crysis is back. Presumingly testing the waters for a franchise reboot, Crysis: Remastered comes with a new 'Ray Tracing' mode to bring it into the current generation.
It's official, we now have the pricing and launch dates for next-gen consoles. PlayStation 5 pre-orders are sold out in the UK. Xbox Series S/X pre-orders start on 22nd September at 8 am (UK Time). But, are the next generation of consoles truly affordable for us all?
With Crystal Dynamics taking on a major IP after the success of the Tomb Raider reboot, it seems Marvel's Avengers was almost guaranteed to be a 'Hulk-Smash'. Square-Enix hasn't spared any expense, but assembling a flowing narrative alongside compelling gameplay is a rough ride.
Nintendo would have laid out extremely strict plot points to stick too, but this is a big deal. Does this mean that Nintendo is now focusing in on the Zelda franchise taking place in Breath of the Wilds incarnation of Hyrule?
