You’re in luck as Frontier Developments have just released a new DLC pack for their ever-growing smash-hit, Jurassic World Evolution 2: Late Cretaceous Pack.

The Barbaridactylus, is a new flying hunter that lived towards the end of the Late Cretaceous. But did you know it gets its name from the Barbary Coast of North Africa, near to where it was discovered?

Things then get a lot bigger with the Alamosaurus. One of the largest dinosaurs ever yet found by paleontologists. Its enormous size and huge defensive spines make this gargantuan herbivore a challenge for attacking predators.

The Rippin’ and the Tearin’

If you’re more into ripping things apart then Australovenator is for you, with a lightweight frame, extremely sharp teeth, and the ability to grab its prey with both claws, this is an all-business dinosaur.

The final animal addition, the pleisosaur Styxosaurus, will be familiar to fans of Jurassic World Mobile.

The four new additions add a bit more variety to things. Especially in the air and in the water. Players should have some fun just adding the new variables to their existing masterpieces. Or a little more fun building from the ground up with the new species in mind.

Worth noting similar to when other DLC packs launched, if you do not want to grab it for £5.99, there is also a free update to the game. The latest update adds in a few new tweaks and features. So, everyone gets something.

Something for Nothing

The free update adds lagoon customisation options, including the ability to place objects both above and below the water.

A bit more interesting though, is escaped flying dinos can now cause damage to nearby helicopters and buildings, adding a bit of needed challenge when you send a team to capture any escapees.

Jurassic World Evolution 2: Late Cretaceous Pack once again builds on core game. The pack demonstrates that Frontier Developments are truly in this for the long run.

Long-term fans will really get the most from these additions. That said, with each pack added and update made makes the game that bit more of a total Jurassic package.
