EA SPORTS has confirmed its next-gen plans for 2 of its biggest franchises, FIFA 21 and Madden NFL 21 and when we can expect to get our hands on the next-gen versions.
It has been confirmed to Techstomper.com that both FIFA 21 and Madden NFL 21 will be launching on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on December 4.
So what can players expect from these next-gen versions? FIFA 21 and Madden NFL 21 will take advantage of the speed of both next-gen SSD’s with lightning-fast loading times and the “most real-to-life dynamic player movements and gameday experiences ever featured in the title.”
Not only that. But EA has confirmed that those who buy FIFA 21 for current-gen will get a FREE next-gen upgrade when it launches. This free upgrade also applies to Xbox One/PS4 versions of Madden NFL 21. This free upgrade is only available until the launch of FIFA 22 and Madden NFL 22.
Ultimate Team progress in FIFA 21 and The Yard and both Franchise modes in Madden NFL 21 can be carried over to the next-gen versions.
If you’ve bought the physical edition of FIFA 21/Madden NFL 21 on current-gen, but have a digital PS5 or Series S, you’ll need to get in touch with EA at ea.help.com to get your digital code.
