Cyberpunk 2077 Dev Stealth Playthrough Takes 175+ Hours

A Cyberpunk 2077 developer has revealed that he has played over 175 hours in his playthrough of the game and has yet to finish it.

QA Tester, Lukaz Babiel, revealed that he has invested over 175 hours in CD Projekt Red’s new open-world RPG and has yet to see final credits.

Responding to a fan question on Twitter, Babiel replied, “Not really, that’s just one of my ongoing slow-paced playthroughs on the hardest difficulty where I play more stealthy than usual, loot everything, use every feature the game has to offer, I take my time.”

Game length has been a question on everyones minds considering the behemoth that was The Witcher 3. What we do know is that it won’t be as long as that title and the map will be slightly smaller, but far more dense.

Gamers may have been worried by those initial reveals about the size of the game, but judging by this info, players will have no trouble sinking days and days into the seedy underbelly of Night City.

The most recent PR material for Cyberpunk 2077 gave us a taste of what we can expect the game to look like on Series X and Xbox One X.

After Cyberpunk 2077’s most recent three-week delay, it’s not slated for release on December 10. Don’t forget that while it will play better on PS5 and Series X compared to last gen, the fully optimised free next-gen version will release sometime in 2021.

If you’re unsure of which version to buy, why not check out our review of both the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
