Just when you thought Xbox Game Pass Ultimate was already incredibly cheap, you spot an offer that seems almost too good to be true.
Usually, a year of Game Pass Ultimate will cost around €120 which is already a fairly decent price for the offering. But, what if I told you you could get 36 months for just €10-€20 more?
It all comes down to Xbox Live Gold subscription which is part of the Game pass Ultimate subscription. What’s crucial is that allow your current subscription to run out. The only way this deal works is if you have no current subscription to Game Pass ultimate.
Three Easy Steps
So here’s what you have to do to take advantage of this deal.
First, go to CD Keys or any other site that offers yearly subscriptions to Xbox Live Gold. The best price I found for a year of Gold was on CD Keys for €45.19, reduced from €56.95 for an EU membership. If you use a VPN, you can purchase a Brazilian Gold membership for €33.89. But that requires more steps which I’m not going to go into here.
Next, buy up two 12 month subscriptions for €90, and a 6-month subscription for €27. Now turn on your Xbox and enter each code individually. You’ll then be offered an extra month free for each subscription if you turn on auto-renew. So, having uploaded those three codes plus the three free months for auto-renew, you should have 33 months of Xbox Live Gold.
Then, if you haven’t already taken advantage of the 3-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for €1 deal, buy it or just pay €12 for one month and upload that code. Now comes the sweet bit. Every month of Xbox LIVE Gold you’ve uploaded will be converted by Xbox into a Game Pass Ultimate subscription. This deal applies up to a maximum of 36 months.
So, for between €130-€145, you’ll get a maximum of three years of Game Pass Ultimate compared with the €360 price you’d pay if you just buy Game Pass Ultimate. I took advantage of this deal and now have Game Pass Ultimate until April 2023. Don’t forget that Game Pass Ultimate also gives you access to Project Xcloud which allows you to play a selection of games like Gears 5 and Halo Master Chief Collection, on your Android device.
