Every week there seem to be rumours about Smyths Ireland or Harvey Norman or GameStop getting PS5 stock in the hands of desperate customers.
Originally, there were murmurs of the third wave of PS5 restocks coming in the first 10 days of January. Clearly, those murmurs were wrong as customers continue to wait to get their hands on the PS5.
Now, we finally have some new information as towny there hasn’t been a restock since the first week of December. Smyths and Harvey Norman have gotten in contact with customers to explain why they’ve yet to say when PS5 will be available.
According to Harvey Norman, Sony has yet to confirm with the retailer when they will be sending stock out across Ireland. However, Both Harvey Norman and Smyths are both expecting the restock to occur this month.
Obviously, Harvey Norman isn’t the only store getting concerned messages from the general public. Smyths Ireland was getting a lot of questions it was revealed that Smyths UK had a PS5 restock in the last few days.
Smyths, like Harvey Norman, still expect the third wave of PS5 consoles to be available in January.
Argos, Smyths and Harvey Norman would be your best chance of getting a PS5 console. GameStop was taking pre-orders for the console months in advance of its reveal and has still yet to fulfil all of them. Both Smyths Ireland and Harvey Norman only took pre-orders of PS5 that they had the stock to fulfil on the day.
