NACON Revolution X Unlimited integrates Hall Effect sensors in its joysticks and triggers, reducing the risk of joystick drift over time. It also utilises Omron micro-switches to improve response time and durability. The controller offers a minimum battery life of 10 hours, ensuring extended gaming sessions without frequent recharging.

A notable addition to the RXU is the built-in LCD screen, which displays settings such as game mode, active profile, battery level, and connection type. Players can also use the screen to adjust audio settings and gameplay presets directly, simplifying customisation.
Customisation Options and Gameplay Enhancements
Through a dedicated software application, users can configure multiple game profiles and utilise predefined settings. The Shooter Pro Mode aims to improve precision by eliminating joystick dead zones, while PC mode reduces input latency to one millisecond in wired mode. Additionally, players can assign keyboard shortcuts to buttons and activate the gyroscope function when using the controller on PC.

Other customisation options include interchangeable joystick heads, rings, weights, and directional crosses to accommodate different playstyles.
Connectivity and Multi-Platform Compatibility
The RXU supports three connection modes: radio frequency, wired, and Bluetooth. In addition to compatibility with Xbox consoles and PC, the controller can also function on Android-based devices, such as smartphones, Smart TVs, and Steam Deck.
Availability and Pricing
The Revolution X Unlimited is available now through nacongaming.com, with a recommended retail price of £179.90/€199.90. The controller also includes a protective hard carry case for storage and transport.
