The DualShock 4, for all its major improvements over the DualShock 3, there was one major flaw which seems to have been resolved by PlayStation 5‘s DualSense.
Battery life is a killer on the DualShock 4 and this is only exacerbated by the fact that it uses mini USB to charge.
Latest reports indicate that the PS5’s DualSense will last 4-5 hours longer than the DualShock 4 while it’ll charge using USB type C.
A bunch of new-is info has also been added to the DualSense product page, including what it looks like from the rear.
Other improvements include a new and improved speaker with higher fidelity sound, a built-in accelerometer and gyroscope motion sensor, the “Create” button which allows players to capture and share their gaming moments in more ways than ever.
The DualSense also has a built-in microphone a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a dedicated mute button if you just want to play on your own.

One slight negative with the new DualSense is that PS5 first-party games will only work with it and not with the DualShock 4.
